Ted has been with Guardian Life Insurance Company since 1974 as a Field Representative (1974-1983; 2002-present), General Agent (1983-1987) and Full Time Agent (1987-2001.) Ted is primarily a Macro Planning Specialist focusing on the areas of Business & Estate Life Insurance Planning, Disability Insurance, and Corporate Benefit Planning. In addition to his involvement with Guardian, Ted has participated in a wide range of business, social, and charitable organizations in St. Louis including: Midwest BankCentre, Inc (Board of Directors, 1996-2006), National Association of Life Underwriters, Missouri Athletic Club, Westborough Country Club, Safari Club International - St. Louis Chapter (Past President), Big Game Hunters, Inc, St. Francis Xavier Church (Endowment Committee, 1992-1994), and Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Louis (2007-present.) He earned his certification as a Chartered Financial Consultant (1983) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (1981) both from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Ted earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale (class of 1968) where he was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Fraternity. Prior to attending Southern Illinois University, he spent four years in the United States Army, having enlisted after his graduation from Bishop DuBourg High School in 1961. Ted was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He and his wife Suzie have been residents of Glendale for over 30 years. They have a son John, daughter-in-law Meredith, and daughter, Jessica. Ted is insurance licensed in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, and Tennessee; securities licensed in Florida and Missouri.
